Edward and Janice Eckroat

Edward (Eddie) and Janice (Jan) Eckroat will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at a reception hosted by their children and grandchildren from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Knights of Columbus Hall in Piqua.
The couple were married in Nashua, N.H., on Nov. 15, 1959. They began their marriage in Massachusetts while he was in the U.S. Air Force. They eventually moved back to Piqua and raised four children, Shelia and her husband, Don Lampe, Piqua, Doug and his wife, Lana, Chanute, Roxanne and her husband, Chuck Morris, Piqua, and Jana of Piqua. The couple have four grandchildren, Amanda, Alisha, Justin and Bridgette; four stepgrandchildren, Kasey, Jesse, Kiesha and Alicia; three great-grandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
