Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Manhattan was the 2:30 p.m. July 25 setting for the wedding Jacqueline Groves and Brian London, Manhattan. The Rev. Joseph Popelka performed the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Ken and Gladys Groves, Iola, and Dennis and Vicki London, Wichita.
Grandparents attending the ceremony were Mr. and Mrs. Clint Hulsey, Broken, Arrow, Okla.
Andrea Peitz, New York City, N.Y., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Stacy Drake, Kansas City, Nicole Quiett, Topeka, and Krystal Nickelson, Iola. The pearls the bride wore belonged to her Grandmother Groves.
Serving as best man was Michael Aukofer, Chicago, Ill. Groomsmen were Josh Groves, Wichita, brother of the bride, and Chris Soder, Manhattan, and Brian Lilley, Branson, Mo.
Seating the guests were Ty Baker, Tulsa, Okla., cousin of the bride, and Mark Cusimano, Manhattan.
Ring bearer was Caden Neuberger, Wichita, nephew of the groom. The ring bearer’s pillow was made by Kathleen Estes from the bride’s christening cap.
Candlelighters were Holly Griffith and Heather Griffith, Manhattan. Bailey London, Manhattan, daughter of the groom, was the reader.
Guest book attendant was Shanon Morris, Manhattan. Handing out programs and bubbles were Jenny Johnson, Tulsa, and Rhiannon Stanley, Stillwater, Okla., cousins of the bride.
Jeanne Anne Aukofer, Chicago, played the flute and was the soloist.
A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at Houston Street Ballroom. Wedding cake and cupcakes were made by Sarah Jane Womelsdorf of Iola.
Following a honeymoon to Tulum, Mexico, the couple are at home in Manhattan.
Mrs. London is an endoscopy technician at Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan. Mr. London is a police officer for Riley County Police Department in Manhattan.
