Kepley — Weilert

St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Chanute was the July 17, 2009, setting for the wedding of Erin Kepley, Chanute, and Rob Weilert, Humboldt. The Rev. Bernie Gorges performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Bob and Teri Kepley, Chanute, and the groom is the son of Dr. David and Nancy Weilert, Humboldt.
Attending the wedding were the groom’s grandparents, Bessie Leonard and Jack and Anna Mae Weilert Works.
Joni Kepley, Springfield, Mo., served as maid of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Amanda Arndt, Emporia, and Amy Reinecke, Topeka.
Jason Weilert, Iola, served as best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Dr. Brent Weilert, Fayetteville, Ark., cousin of the groom, and Andy Wilhite, Gardner.
Seating the guests were Adam and Andrew Kepley, brothers of the bride.
Communion gift attendants were Marc, Amber and Evan Scheid, the groom’s sister’s family. Guest book and program attendants were Jill Kepley and Michelle Kepley, sisters-in-law of bride, and Julie Weilert, sister-in-law of groom.
Candlelighters were Eric and Staci Callahan, cousins of the groom. Readers at the wedding were Sara Dietrich and Ryan Maher, cousins of groom. Providing music for the ceremony were Sarah Cott, Brian Gahagan, Sallie Knapp and Jean Cross.
A reception, dinner and dance followed the ceremony at Uncle Geezo’s in Chanute.
Following a honeymoon to Bermuda, the couple are at home in Chanute.
Mrs. Weilert is a 1999 graduate of Chanute High School. In 2003, she received a bachelor of science degree in health promotion from Emporia State University. She is employed by USD 258 in Humboldt as a health coordinator.
Mr. Weilert is a 1995 graduate of Humboldt High School. In 2000, he earned a bachelor of science degree in biology from Pittsburg State University, and in 2003 he received a doctor of chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College. He is employed by Weilert Chiropractic Clinic in Humboldt.
