
Tanking — Scott
Erin Tanking and Devin Scott were married Aug. 1, 2009, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sabetha. Father Balachandra Miriyala performed the ceremony. A reception and dance followed the ceremony at St. James Parish Hall in Wetmore.
The bride is the daughter of Kenny and Louise Tanking of Netawaka. The groom is the son of Jacque Scott of Iola and Kent Scott of Sublette.
The bridesmaids were sisters of the bride, Leah Thome of Tonganoxie, Regina Tanking and Keri Tanking of Netawaka, and sister of the groom, Marissa Scott of Iola. The groomsmen were Tyler Pargman, John Higginbotham and Marshall Stuckey of Iola and Eric Duderstadt of Ottawa.
The flower girl and ring bearer were Olivia Yingst of Whiting and Jonathan Wren of Ottawa.
The bride attends Ottawa University where she plans to graduate in May with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.
The groom is a 2009 graduate of Ottawa University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting. He is employed by the American Eagle Distribution Center in Ottawa as a transportation specialist.
The couple reside in Ottawa.
