HUMBOLDT — An 8:30 a.m. run/walk will kick off Saturday’s Biblesta. Registration for the Run for the Son begins at 7:45 a.m. on the north side of Emprise Bank, corner of 8th and Bridge streets. The race begins at Bridge and 6th streets. More than 60 people have so far registered for the run.
The 3K/5K event is a fund raiser for next year’s Biblesta. Fees are $14 for the walk and $20 for the run. With registration comes a T-shirt. Pre-registration guaranteed a shirt by Saturday. Extra shirts may be available for those who register Saturday, or will come later.
Children’s activities will be in the parking lot of the Christian Church, at the corner of Osage and 9th streets. Previous advertisements had the wrong location cited for events including magic and puppet shows.
