Vote by Tuesday

Humboldt voters have until noon Tuesday to submit their ballots on the city’s fluoridated water vote.
Humboldt’s vote-by-mail is to decide whether it should treat its water with fluoride.
It’s a virtual certainty that putting the ballots in the mail today will not ensure their arrival at the county clerk’s office by the noon deadline.
The only other option is to hand-deliver the ballots in person to the clerk’s office.
As of this morning, 693 of the 1,150 ballots sent to Humboldt voters had been returned to the clerk’s office.
