Ghost given up

Hans Holzer, among the most famous of ghosthunters, died April 26. Not surprisingly, he hasn’t been heard from since.
Holzer, of Austrian heritage, spent his life courting ghosts and his “investigations” into a Dutch Colonial at water’s edge in Amityville, Long Island, led Hollywood to produce “Amityville Horror” and its sequel, “Amityville II: The Possession.”
An extended obituary about Holzer in “The Economist” hints that his motivation was self-aggrandizement.
In reality, there are spiritual implications to death of the religious variety. Hopefully, Holzer didn’t overlook that aspect of afterlife.
