MVJH boys open season

PLESANTON — Marmaton Valley Junior High’s boys split games with host Pleasanton Junior High Thursday to open the 2010 season.
The A-team game went to Pleasanton 42-17. It was 26-7 at halftime.
Michael Genn paced the Wildcats with five points and Dylan Mayo-Mendel added four.
Scoring two points each for MVJH were Chance Stevenson, Garrett Booth, Nick Trollope and Joey Jefferis.
Marmaton Valley powered to a 37-9 win in B-team action. The Wildcats led 17-5 at intermission and 27-9 after three quarters.
Shaun Frye fired in 16 points for Marmaton Valley. Kohl Endicott had eight points followed by five from Trent Johnson and four from Mayo-Mendel.
Coltan Alexander and Mitchell Covey each had two points.
