Marmaton Valley loses season finale

MADISON — Host Madison High proved to be too tough a nut to crack for Marmaton Valley High Thursday.
The Wildcats ended their season with a 52-6 defeat at the hands of Madison to end their 2009 season at 3-6.

The Bulldogs raced to a 30-0 lead by the end of the first quarter and coasted from there.
Marmaton Valley’s sole score came in the fourth quarter on a one-yard run by Nathan Whitcomb.
