Red Devils shoot a 666 in final fall tournament

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Allen County Community College’s golf team concluded its fall tournament action Tuesday.
The Red Devils competed in the Kansas City, Kan., Community College’s Blue Devil Classic. They played the 36-hole event at Dub’s Dread Golf Club.
Allen County finished in the middle of the pack — seventh with a score of 666. Kansas City won the tournament with a 624.
Clay Crawford of Independence Community College won the individual top honors with a 151. Three golfers shot 152s.
The tournament was played under difficult weather conditions, 40 degree temperatures, wind and drizzle.
Will Clark led the Red Devils with a 162 (79-83) and Bryan Welch carded a 163 (83-80). Nick Agrew shot a 169 (83-86). Rob Carlson had a 172 (91-81) and Gavin Cole shot a 200 (102-98).
